Facilities at DBIPUC
Campus Infrastructure – The Don Bosco Independent PU College campus is alive with various co-curricular activities throughout the year. The educators and students come together, work with each other and contribute to the various events. These events are much awaited and contribute an essential aspect to the curriculum.
Library
The Don Bosco Library plays a proactive role in enabling access to information resources of all kind and providing innovative, responsive and effective services to meet the changing and sustained needs of the academic community. It is situated in the ground floor. Designed in such a way it has natural light over entire day and provides a friendly environment to gain knowledge in an effective manner. Library has well trained professionals to support the user community. Around 50 users can sit and read at any point of time.
Laboratory
Don Bosco Independent PU College has well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry Biology and Computer Science students. With a small batch size, the institution not only offers personalized attention, but also ensures that every student gets access to modern technology. The laboratories are upgraded to meet the demands of the curriculum.
Sports
A healthy mind in a healthy body”. Don Bosco Independent PU College promotes and encourages a number of sports activities. Our Sporting facilities include a Football field, Hand ball, Cricket pitch and practice nets, Basketball court, Volley Ball courts and Kabaddi courts, Athletic tracks, etc. The indoor facilities for Table tennis, Shuttle badminton, Yoga and Meditation. The faculty includes first class skillful good humor coaches for all sports.
DBIPU Seminar Hall
The Seminar Hall are used for several occasions such as Graduation ceremony, First year inauguration, Fresher’s party, Felicitation functions, Alumni events, Major department level events, and others.
Canteen & Cafeteria
DBIPU has two food courts providing ample choice to students. The two full-fledged canteens provide hygienic and sumptuous meals both in north Indian and south Indian styles. Quick snacks and fresh fruit juice counters are also available in the canteens.
Transportation
Campus provides transport facility to various places across the city of Bangalore. We provide transport facility to the students from Channapattana-Ramanagara-Bidadi Route; Kottigepalya on Magadi Rod; Tataguni Estate in Kanakapura Road and Dodda Aalada Mara (Big Baniyan Tree). Some of the other areas to which paid transport service provided are BTM Layout, Jayanagar, Kathriguppa, 8th Mile in Tumkur Road, Vijayanagara, Nayandahally, Kengeri Satellite Town, etc.
Parking
Campus provides huge space for four wheeler and two wheeler parking. Multi-level, wide and sufficient parking places are provided separately for staff and students. 24 x 7 security and CCTV cameras are also installed for all parking places.
