Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed the Karnataka SSLC, CBSE, ICSE, or any equivalent examination recognized by the Department of Pre-University Education (PUE), Karnataka.
Candidates are required to fulfill all additional eligibility criteria and conditions as prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education (PUE), Karnataka.
Foreign nationals and candidates who have completed Standard X (10th) or an equivalent examination outside India are required to obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the Department of Pre-University Education (PUE), Karnataka, before securing admission.
How to Apply
- Applications for Admission to the college must be in the prescribed form.
- Applicants must have passed in Karnataka SSLC Examination or any other equivalent examination recognized by the department of pre-university education, Karnataka and must satisfy all other conditions set by them. Applicants must personally fill in the forms correctly and neatly. Applicants should register the same at the college office on the date mentioned on the notice board.
Admission Procedure
The candidate must meet the Admission Team, Coordinator, or Head of the Department on the scheduled date and time, accompanied by their parents.
The candidate is expected to meet the Principal on the appointed date and time with parents.
Original documents need to be submitted at the time of admission.
Selected candidates will be enrolled upon payment of the first installment of the fee

How to Apply
Admissions at Don Bosco Independent PU College are simple and student-friendly. Follow the steps below to complete the admission process:
Step 1: Collect Application Form
Application forms can be obtained from the college office after the announcement of SSLC/10th results.
Step 2: Fill the Application
Applicants must fill in the application form carefully with accurate details.
Step 3: Submit Required Documents
Submit the completed application form along with:
• SSLC / 10th Marks Card
• Transfer Certificate (TC)
• Passport-size photographs
• Any other required documents
Step 4: Attend Counselling
The candidate, along with parents, should visit the college and meet the Admission Team/Coordinator for guidance and stream selection.
Step 5: Confirm Admission
After verification and approval, admission can be confirmed by completing the fee payment.

The application can be obtained from the college or admissions office immediately after the announcement of SSLC results.
The admission commences immediately after the announcement of the SSLC results. Candidates who wish to take admission should contact the Principal/admission office personally, along with their parents/guardians. They should bring a completely filled application form along with four passport-size photographs and a statement of marks obtained in the 10th Examination, duly attested by the Headmaster/Principal of the School.
The Documents To Be Submitted
- Marks card of SSLC or equivalent exam marks card, Aadhaar card with a Xerox copy.
- Transfer certificate issued by the institution last attended with a Xerox copy.
- Conduct certificate issued by the institution last attended with a Xerox copy.
- Provisional Eligibility Certificate issued by the Director, Dept. of P.U. Education, Bangalore (Applicable to students from other countries only).
- Caste Certificate issued by the Tahsildar with a Xerox copy (Applicable to SC/ST/BCM Group candidates only).
- Income Certificate with a Xerox copy (applicable to students whose family income is below Rs. 44,500/-per annum).
- Students are informed to keep with them sufficient attested Xerox copies of the original documents to submit at the time of admission, as the originals will not be returned till admission is approved/the course is completed.

Course of Study
- The duration of the Per-University course is spread over a period of 2 academic years.
- Medium of instruction is English. However, students may, at their option, answer in either English or Kannada in the public examination
The Course of Study is in 2 Parts:
- Part – I: Language (English. Kannada/Hindi/Sanskrit) as optional languages.
- Part – II: Core Subjects-PCMB/ PCMCs/ EBAS/EBACs
- I & II PUC students must compulsorily attend the statutory and mid-term examinations conducted by the college, failing which serious disciplinary action will be taken.
